Two cases of Meckel¢¥s diverticulurn with complication were experienced at the surgical department of Korea university medical college.
One of which is the case of panperitonitis resulting from perforation of Meckel¢¥s diverticulum with ectopic gastric tissue in the diverticulum and the other is intestinal obstruction due to adhesion and of the inflamed diverticulum. Meckel¢¥s diverticulum is a developmental anomaly which is originated from remnant of the embryonic vitelline or omphalomesenteric duct.
